Some time ago some colleagues and I were travelling out of our town to attend our colleague’s wedding. Whiles on our way, we had to stop in another town to wait for another colleague to join us. As our car came to a stop, right at where it stopped, I saw a picture of a friend posted on the wall. I didn’t even read what was written on the poster, I just assumed that my friend was hosting a program in that town. It was when I leaned forward to read what was written on the flyer, that I realised that it was actually my friend’s funeral invitation. My friend had died and had been burried about a month ago and I didn’t even hear about it.
This friend was young and had his whole life ahead of him. In fact there was a time I saw him on tv featuring in a movie and I remember thinking to myself that he was going to be great. I guess this was how far he came.
The truth is we don’t have our whole years ahead of us. We only have the very moment we have. Don’t waste it on things that wouldn’t matter. You are not going to live forever so live your life as each day matters. Don’t be too greedy and lose your sense of humanity. Don’t waste your life on things that are worthless. My friend isn’t alive but some of his works are, if they were bad, h would be remeberd for his bad works and if they were Good, his legacy will keep living on. Live well!
Know Jesus and live for Him. He says he is going to prepare a place for you and He shall come back for you. Don’t destroy your life, do the right thing.
Also don’t be too afraid to do what you need to do now.
Live the valued life. ♥
