THE EVIDENCE THAT GOD IS WITH US

We live in a strange world, ruled by a strange being. We face many tribulations because the ruler of this world is against us.

Each day is filled with strange things and it doesn’t seem to be getting better. You talk to someone today and in a minute they are no more. You are all strong now and in a minute you find yourself struggling for your life. Are we left alone at the mercy of this world and its ruler?

No! Believer, you are not alone. Our God is with us. God is spirit and so we can not see him with our physical eyes but one way we can see him is through the works of his hands. I’ll provide you with some evidence to proof that God is with us.

1. His word is the very first evidence that God is with us. God has said in his word many times that he is with us.( Joshua 1:5, Hebrews 13:5, Deuteronomy 31:8…). We can go on and on about God’s very words that encourages and reassures us of His ever presence with us. We believe what he says because every word he has said has come to pass and he isn’t a man that he will lie or promise and cannot fulfill (Numbers 23:19). So you see, God is with you.
2. The second evidence that God is with us is seen in the little miracles we encounter. Eg. Recovering from an illness that someone else couldn’t even recover from, waking up each day, being able to talk, walk and do all that you do. They may not look like a miracle to you but ask the person who can’t do one of these.
3. The third evidence I have for you is the help we receive from people. Some people are angels in human form. Their help comes in timely and we sometimes wonder what we would’ve done without them. They are the evidence that God is with us.
4. The fourth is how we are able to find joy even in hard times and after a time of grief. How we are able to forget our pain and move on. It’s a miracle and an evidence that God is with us. He has a way that he comforts his people. We are not alone.
5. I’ll end with a fifth one though we can go on and on. The manifestations of the holy spirit is one big evidence. The power of the holy spirit at work in the church is evidence that God is with us. Healing, prophetic and others are evidence that our God is with us.

There are more evidence to proof, if only you will look, you shall find. God is with us just as Jesus was in the boat with the men. The storms came even though he was with them, they felt the storm and they were afraid. The storm could not harm them because Jesus was with them( Mark 4:35-41).

God is with us even though we go through strange and hard times. It will all come to an end soon. He never left, he has been there all along that is why we survived and we are surviving.

So if there is anything making you doubt that God is with us, open your eyes and search for that one thing that shows that he is with us.
