He who does not know God, does not know love and he who does not believe in Jesus, does not believe in love. To know God is to know love and to believe in Jesus is to believe in love. Jesus is the token of love expressed by God to us.
Ephesians:3.19
and to know this love that surpasses knowledge– that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
All of God is love, He is the definition of love and if you want to understand love, you must get to know God. If you are able to understand love, you get to know God.
Love is pure, good and powerful. Love is beautiful and sweet. Sometimes love can be painful because it is very strong and powerful.
Love is trustworthy, selfless and peaceful. It is just and faithful. It is everlasting. God’s love is perfect and we can safely rest in His love without fear( 1 John 4:8).
To have love, you must first receive love; accept the love of God and be filled with love. Then, you can also give love. You can’t give what you don’t have, even when you try it won’t be easy. You struggle with loving others and even God because you haven’t fully embraced the love of God.
Each day His love for us is renewed( Lamentations 3:22-23) so each day open your heart to God’s love, you need it everyday to understand God, to keep loving and to trust God. You need it everyday to live the valued life.
