Some time ago I had a conversation with a loved one who was dealing with a lot and was still finding her feet. I remember telling her not to allow what she was going through define her but rather look up to God and allow God bring her out so that she can also lead many people who are going through similar problems out.
Recently I was reading Hebrews 12 when I came across the verse 12, the Holy Spirit reminded me of that conversation and asked me to also apply it. Now this is what Hebrews 12:12-13 says;
Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees.”Make level paths for your feet,” so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.
There are times in our lives that our challenges make us feel weak and tired. The trials and challenges we go through can destroy us or build us up and strengthen us. I’ve come to understand that God allows it because He wants you to overcome them so that we can be strengthened to help others out and mark a straight path for other people going through similar challenges. God needs us to be strong for each other, He wants us to live lives that can inspire and impact others. He wants our lives to bless others, this brings glory to God.
It is easier to know that others have been through what you are going through and have survived it. This encourages you to keep going.
So anytime you feel like giving up, remember the many lives that will be going down with you. Many of us are looking up to hear how you overcame so that we can also find the way and strength to overcome ours too. Because of this, keep going and don’t give up. Strengthen your tired hands and weak knees, we need you to survive .
